12 - 14 October, ROYAL OLYMPIC HOTEL
We would like to invite you to this year’s SIOPEN Annual General Meeting that will take place in Athens on October 12 to 14th 2022.
The meeting will be hosted in the center of Athens, facing the Parthenon and next to the Temple of Olympian Zeus, at the Royal Olympic Hotel, minutes away from the New Acropolis Museum.
Our effort is to facilitate the neuroblastoma community to meet face to face and collaborate by exchanging ideas and results on basic science, disease monitoring, imaging, immunotherapy, new concepts for relapse and refractory disease, together with updates on the current clinical trials and the SIOPEN strategic plans. The general idea currently is: Designing the future, “From bench to bedside”.
This year, we expect to have with us leads from COG and NANT, and also representatives of patient advocate groups to actively participate and share their views and perspectives with us.
Also, incorporated in the program are abstract paper presentations and clinical case presentations. Being a SIOPEN Annual General Meeting will not preclude you form presenting your research in another International Congress.
Preceding the main SIOPEN AGM Program, on October 11th the Liquid Biomarker and Molecular Monitoring Committees will meet, while a hands-on Pathology Committee meeting on multi-headed microscopes is also planned on October 12th.
The city of Athens with its famous antiquities is a vivid cosmopolitan city to enjoy with walks, dining, shopping, excursions and many cultural and fun happenings.
We look forward to seeing you in Athens for the SIOPEN AGM 2022.
Cordially,
Maja Beck Popovic, SIOPEN President
Vassilios Papadakis, Local Organizer
